Volunteer Registration: $100+ processing fees

*processing fees can be avoided if you pay via Zelle or via check (must received by June 1st). See instruction page for check or Zelle payments BEFORE registering.

 

Volunteer Eligibility:

• Must be over 18 years old (graduating High School seniors are not eligible as volunteers)

• Active members in good standing of a local church

• Must be professing Christians and followers of Jesus Christ

• Able to stay on site and serve for the entire conference from July 24-27. (preferably, arriving on June 23 for setup day)

 

What to Expect:

• Volunteer Staff will have the opportunity to serve the youth with a missional group of amazing staff and guest speakers!

• Volunteer Staff will undergo training, prayer meetings, and team assignment through which you will be equipped to serve the next generation.

• Volunteer Staff will have the conference experience while serving - including amazing worship, messages, and great fellowship with peer staff.

• Volunteer Staff Registration includes meals and lodging on HCU campus, t-shirt, and conference kit.

Application Process: (detailed instruction will be sent out in an email once you complete this online application)

1. Complete this Application Online

2. Submit the $100 payment (we prefer Zelle payment to avoid processing fees)

3. After you complete the online registration,

   1. we will email your pastor for pastoral reference/support - this is your pastor saying "yes, he/she is a member and I give my support for them to serve at KOSTA".

   2. we will have you complete a background check (nominal fee)

   3. If we do not receive pastoral support and/or a cleared background check, you will not be able to serve at TX KOSTA (and your $100 minus any processing fees will be refunded). If you have a situation that needs special consideration, please reach out to us at txkosta@gmail.com

       

Your Responsibility:

• Staff (aka volunteer) Prayer & Prep Meeting Attendance - Starting in June on Every Tuesday at 8:30pm

• Team Meeting Attendance - The leader of your assigned team will set up separate meetings

• Spiritual Health - The strengthening of your relationship with Jesus through prayer and reading of the Bible

• Staff KOSTA Day - June 23 (Mon), staff arrive at HCU for set up, preparation, and worship (staff residing outside of Houston or staff who will travel with their youth may be excused). An extra day of lodging and meals will be provided for staff who arrive on June 23rd.
